The 4 Charities We Run For

When you think of breast cancer, you most likely think of females. Yet 2600 men get breast caner each year. Most of them in stage 4 due to a lack of awareness. We are running to raise awareness so that men, just like women, check their breasts every month with the Breast Cancer Hub App to prevent another person dying of cancer.

Chris and Melanie have two kids and fully understand the joy and toughness that it takes financially, emotionally, and without family in proximity to raise those kids. IT truly takes a village. Which is why Chris will be running to raise awareness and funds to Care Net for Mothers and Fathers to have the resources they need when pregnant.

We've all seen Forrest Gump and know the character Lieutennant Dan. The actor, Gar Sinise's life work is to honor and support our nation's veterans, first responders, wounded heroes and families of the fallen. Just like Gary, the Avery family is committed to help by running and raising funds for The Gary Sinise Foundation

We all want our kids to have better life than we had. It takes a village. The biggest thing that impacted Chris for change was having an outside influence. Big Brother Big Sister is a no brainer for the Avery family to raise funds for to keep connecting kids to positive mentors.
